Guidewire Integration Architect
Guidewire SoftwareResponsibilities
- Lead architecture for complex InsuranceSuite implementations across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and surrounding systems.
- Define cloud-ready, scalable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe solution designs and integration patterns on Guidewire Cloud.
- Provide design authority and govern critical technical, performance, data, security, and operational decisions.
- Partner with customers, product teams, and delivery leads to apply AI- and automation-enabled implementation methods.
- Mentor consultants and engineers on InsuranceSuite architecture, cloud patterns, and modern engineering practices.
- Develop reusable assets, templates, accelerators, and methodologies to improve delivery quality, productivity, and margins.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience architecting and delivering Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter solutions, ideally including cloud implementations and large-scale transformations.
- Strong enterprise application architecture background with integration patterns and secure, scalable SaaS or cloud design experience.
- Ability to lead technical direction across large, multi-stakeholder programs and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Proficiency with Java, Gosu, relational databases, integration middleware, and modern delivery practices.
- Experience mentoring and upskilling engineers or consultants with an emphasis on quality, automation, and engineering excellence.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- 10+ years of overall software or solution architecture experience, including significant Guidewire implementation experience; consulting or Professional Services experience is preferred.
- Experience applying AI- or automation-based accelerators such as code generation, intelligent testing tools, or migration scripts is preferred.
- Knowledge of P&C insurance domains and related industry standards or regulatory environments is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
