Base Salary
$86k - $118k/yr
Responsibilities
- Support AMER-region customers by investigating technical issues, providing guidance, and delivering solutions.
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based trading applications using AI-powered development tools and agentic workflows.
- Analyze production environments and perform root cause analysis for complex technical issues.
- Work with trading protocols, market data, order management workflows, and electronic trading systems.
- Support service releases, integrations, onboarding activities, and continuous improvement initiatives with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Participate occasionally in after-hours on-call support and collaborate with global teams across CAN, EMEA, and APAC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with strong Java programming skills and working knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues and solving problems in complex application environments.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in financial technology, electronic trading systems, and direct customer collaboration.
- Preferred experience with AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Opencode, or Kiro.
- Preferred familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, FIX protocol, order management systems, or capital markets technology.
- Preferred experience supporting customers, distributed systems, messaging middleware, or high-performance applications.
