Responsibilities
- Contribute under senior guidance to automated mechanisms that generate client-like data shapes and user-flow patterns from logging and tracing information.
- Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.
- Maintain automated and manual test script libraries.
- Interpret automation results, document software defects in the issue-tracking system, and communicate issues to developers and project team members.
- Research and define approaches for achieving end-to-end test automation using artificial intelligence and large language models.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and other Scrum teams to create sustainable solutions and ensure product quality and performance.
- Participate in software development ceremonies, requirements and functional specification reviews, and formal and on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or another technical field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience or equivalent college project experience.
- Initial experience with one or more of Java, C#, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or batch scripts is preferred.
- Familiarity with automation test scripts for web, native or desktop applications, APIs, and batch applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of issue-tracking systems and wikis such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
- Analytical, solution-oriented thinking, effective written and verbal communication, willingness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively with peers.
