Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own a core product or engineering domain from architecture through frequent production releases.
- Speak with customers, synthesize feedback, and make product decisions independently.
- Build and optimize multimodal agents for voice, SMS, and email communication.
- Develop low-latency voice experiences and persistent, cross-channel conversation state.
- Set quality practices for non-deterministic systems, including evaluations, prompt versioning, guardrails, and drift detection.
- Work across React and Next.js interfaces, Node.js services, and Python systems.
Requirements
- Three to eight years of full-stack engineering experience with a record of shipping and scaling products in fast-paced, early-stage environments.
- Production proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, plus experience building Python services.
- Hands-on production experience with LLM APIs or agent SDKs such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable tools.
- Strong depth in at least one area: production voice or SMS agents, long-running agent state and memory, agent evaluations and guardrails, or B2B2C and marketplace products.
- Experience making product decisions, conducting customer discovery, and owning shipped work without a dedicated product manager.
- Understanding of backend infrastructure and data structures for persistent conversations, low-latency systems, and non-deterministic behavior.
- Python experience with real-time voice pipelines or evaluation tooling is useful.
- Strong computer science fundamentals or founder experience with demonstrated product traction are valued.
