Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain high-scale, highly used services for the Agreement Platform.
- Design and build scalable database and service solutions for new features.
- Build APIs and features supporting Docusign’s customer development platform.
- Use telemetry systems and data to diagnose and solve complex problems.
- Guide and mentor engineers through design and code reviews.
- Design systems for future scale, reliability, and failure scenarios.
- Break down complex problems and ship incremental improvements every few weeks.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase team productivity and efficiency.
- Stay current with development best practices and share findings with the team.
- Participate in performance monitoring, live-site monitoring, and on-call operations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
- Fluency in at least one core programming language, including C# or Java, and its ecosystem.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable distributed systems.
- Operational experience with performance monitoring, live-site monitoring, and on-call responsibilities.
- Preferred: practical experience with Cosmos.
- Preferred: experience building or redesigning databases with PostgreSQL on Azure.
- Preferred: experience with AWS or Azure.
