Base Salary

$158k - $266k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and maintain high-scale, highly used services for the Agreement Platform.
  • Design and build scalable database and service solutions for new features.
  • Build APIs and features supporting Docusign’s customer development platform.
  • Use telemetry systems and data to diagnose and solve complex problems.
  • Guide and mentor engineers through design and code reviews.
  • Design systems for future scale, reliability, and failure scenarios.
  • Break down complex problems and ship incremental improvements every few weeks.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase team productivity and efficiency.
  • Stay current with development best practices and share findings with the team.
  • Participate in performance monitoring, live-site monitoring, and on-call operations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant professional software development experience.
  • Fluency in at least one core programming language, including C# or Java, and its ecosystem.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable distributed systems.
  • Operational experience with performance monitoring, live-site monitoring, and on-call responsibilities.
  • Preferred: practical experience with Cosmos.
  • Preferred: experience building or redesigning databases with PostgreSQL on Azure.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS or Azure.
