Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and development tasks in JIRA to determine required test validations.
- Create and manage test scripts and test cases in qTest.
- Contribute improvements to testing architecture, tools, and team workflows.
- Collaborate with Quality Management, business users, Change Management, and developers on ongoing projects.
- Perform automated and manual testing and support software quality assurance.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and stay current on requirements and development approaches.
Requirements
- Be a final-year student or recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent work experience.
- Know at least one programming language, with Java strongly preferred.
- Have knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments.
- Demonstrate strong English communication skills.
- Show learning agility, problem-solving ability, initiative, and willingness to take ownership.
- Be available for at least 24 hours per week.
- Familiarity with automated testing concepts is preferred.
- Knowledge of agile or waterfall project management methodologies is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Selenium WebDriver, web services, networking, Maven, and Git is preferred.
- Internship, personal, academic, or group project experience is preferred.
