Responsibilities
- Productionize batch and online machine learning models at high scale.
- Build and improve causal algorithms for pricing and customer targeting.
- Develop and deploy large-scale machine learning solutions for customer and product discovery.
- Improve code, technology, and engineering practices while contributing to new features.
- Mentor and coach junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Contribute to technical direction, establish ML standards, and drive quality across ASOS’s ML community.
Requirements
- Experience applying machine learning in production settings.
- Exposure to deep learning techniques and their practical application.
- Experience with deep learning and distributed computing frameworks for large-scale models.
- Experience training models across multiple GPUs using distributed or parallel approaches, or strong interest in developing this expertise.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and engineering practices, including data pipelines, containerization, observability, and MLOps tooling.
- Comfort supporting others through technical guidance, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and wider engineering initiatives.
