Base Salary
$125k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Train, modify, and create advanced algorithms for world representations supporting perception, world modeling, and machine-learning-driven autonomy.
- Test and evaluate algorithms on real vehicles and own substantial portions of the autonomy stack.
- Ensure perception improvements translate into better driving capabilities.
- Collaborate with data, behavior, and research teams to develop and deploy autonomy software for customers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building software components or subsystems for real-world perception challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience building machine learning models from data collection through production and deployment.
- Deep understanding of the concepts and methods behind relevant frameworks and libraries.
- Interest in tracking field developments and evaluating promising versus risky new ideas.
- Preferred: MSc or PhD in perception or a closely related field.
- Preferred: Experience with modern machine-learning-based perception for autonomous systems.
- Preferred: Deep knowledge of computer vision trends, including perception, reconstruction, diffusion, world models, and vision-model pretraining.
