Responsibilities
- Develop and implement forecasting and planning software for logistics network decision-making and capacity allocation.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code for logistics network planning projects.
- Own the full development lifecycle, including solution design, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve operational challenges and identify solutions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, communicate status, and deliver project milestones.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Ideally have experience building machine learning models for forecasting, optimization, or advanced planning.
- Build robust, scalable, and high-performance systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, relational data warehouses, ETL design and development, and pipeline orchestration.
- Have experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have experience with technical documentation and user guides.
- Have experience with Databricks.
- Actively use agentic development practices through tools such as Claude or Copilot.
