Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously improve systems for data ingestion, processing, storage, sharing, and synchronization.
- Build and optimize scalable, high-performance data architectures and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop and maintain streaming data workflows and integrations across domains.
- Ensure data quality, security, availability, and performance.
- Collaborate with analysts, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot software, and fix defects.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data workflows.
- Work in a cross-functional Agile team and drive technical improvements and initiatives independently.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong understanding of Kafka, Spark, and Flink for streaming data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Airflow or dbt.
- Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Experience with real-time, message-based, and event-driven integrations.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to test automation, DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and security best practices.
- Customer business domain experience is advantageous.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required.
