Responsibilities
- Direct the ISPM technical roadmap and convert product requirements into system designs.
- Architect and scale core identity security posture systems.
- Cultivate cross-functional technical alliances with platform teams.
- Author and review technical design documents and facilitate architectural discussions.
- Construct high-performance backend services using Go and build user-facing interfaces with React/TypeScript.
- Design and optimize database schemas for large-scale identity workloads.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for asynchronous workflows.
- Support and mentor a distributed team of engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to align on technical strategy and deliver key results.
- Own operational health for all services, including incident response and SLO management.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a tech lead or senior technical leadership role.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and elevating technical standards.
- Exceptional system architecture skills for scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
- Extensive backend production experience with Go, including clean design patterns and robust error handling.
- Production-level skills in React and TypeScript for user-facing features.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL for schema design and query optimization.
- Superb communication abilities for detailing technical trade-offs and presenting architecture.
- High tolerance for ambiguity and adeptness at making decisions with partial data.
