Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality production software solutions.
  • Review code, enforce architectural standards, and ensure automated quality requirements are met.
  • Lead adoption and validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and automation practices.
  • Lead a global feature team by setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, supporting pair programming, and contributing to architecture decisions.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Operations, and Technology teams to deliver platform capabilities.
  • Improve application stability, observability, code quality, and deployment reliability across development, staging, and production environments.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 8 years of applied experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Advanced Java development experience, including object-oriented design, concurrency, collections, streams, records, sealed classes, pattern matching, and virtual threads.
  • Advanced Spring Boot and Spring Framework experience with Spring Security, Spring Data, microservices, domain-driven design, OpenAPI, and Kafka-based event-driven development.
  • Hands-on full-stack and data experience with React, TypeScript, Oracle SQL or PostgreSQL, and Hibernate or JPA.
  • Experience leading approved AI-assisted software development and validating outputs for correctness, performance, security, and responsible handling of sensitive data.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery, continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and security.
  • Preferred experience with React hooks, context, state-management tools, component design systems, Next.js, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Pulumi, automated testing, observability, Redis, GraphQL, Apache Spark, or Flink.
  • Production support, incident management, financial services, equipment leasing, lease accounting, asset valuation, commercial lending technology, or asset lifecycle workflow experience is preferred.
