Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-DeepMind collaborations to execute shared, high-impact research goals.
- Report and present complex research breakthroughs clearly and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strategic collaborations with external research labs and leading researchers.
- Represent DeepMind’s work internally and externally at global venues.
- Develop experiments, prototypes, and architectures for generative AI research and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or Machine Learning, or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience with TensorFlow or similar machine learning frameworks such as JAX or PyTorch.
- Two years of experience in an applied research setting.
- Preferred experience training diffusion models.
- Preferred experience working in industry and taking projects from proof of concept through implementation.
