Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Java platform components across the full software development lifecycle.
- Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, including test-driven development and pipeline-integrated test automation.
- Collaborate with business analysts, business stakeholders, production support, and global engineering teams.
- Participate in production support and incident calls, owning issues through resolution.
- Work with database, messaging and queueing, cloud, and observability technologies.
- Identify and escalate technical and delivery risks and support continuous improvement of engineering practices and tooling.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on software development experience using Java in an agile, fast-paced delivery environment.
- Strong understanding of automated testing practices, including test-driven development and pipeline-integrated test automation.
- Practical exposure to database and messaging or queueing technologies, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms and observability or monitoring tooling.
- Comfort with production support activities and contributing to incident resolution.
- Ability to collaborate individually, within teams, and with stakeholders across global regions.
