Responsibilities
- Write and review portions of specifications for simple software components.
- Implement development processes and coding best practices and participate in code reviews under senior-engineer guidance.
- Work across development environments and collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements.
- Complete simple bug fixes and apply test-driven development knowledge.
- Resolve basic technical issues, stay current with technology developments, and apply data modeling and software development principles.
Requirements
- Have completed or be completing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
- Be proficient in development technologies including Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript, C#, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, Linux, and .Net.
- Understand software development methodologies, data manipulation languages, data modeling principles, and test-driven development.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.
