Responsibilities
- Build reliable software and AI capabilities for semi-autonomous platforms.
- Develop enabling infrastructure for real-time localization, navigation, and perception.
- Solve complex engineering problems under changing environments and demanding technical constraints.
- Communicate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate through code reviews and pair programming.
- Reason about and write code independently without relying on LLMs.
Requirements
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex architectural decisions.
- Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems, solve problems with code, and work independently.
- Willingness to collaborate with others through code reviews and pair programming.
- Awareness that ethical considerations are an inherent part of software engineering.
- Nice-to-have experience with Python and Rust.
- Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, or Arrow.
- Knowledge of container-based, cloud-native, and edge application architectures.
- Experience with hardware interfaces such as Arduino is useful.
- Knowledge of robotics and control systems is useful.
