Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core platform components, including AI agents that capture data from inboxes, web portals, and connected sources.
- Develop production-grade backend services and APIs for reconciliation, journal entry generation, and reporting workflows.
- Integrate and operate large language models and agentic systems in production.
- Work with customers and design partners to gather requirements, communicate trade-offs, and translate feedback into product decisions.
- Contribute across architecture, implementation, testing, and delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
- Help attract and evaluate engineering talent as the team grows.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional software engineering experience and a record of building and shipping real products.
- Hands-on production experience with LLMs and agentic or autonomous systems.
- Strong backend development skills in Python or TypeScript and solid computer science and engineering fundamentals.
- Experience building or operating AI-native operations infrastructure for accounting, reporting, reconciliation, or treasury.
- Domain knowledge of private markets fund accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and treasury processes.
- Ability to contribute across the full product lifecycle rather than in only backend or frontend work.
- Comfort with ambiguity, proactive communication, and high ownership in a small founding team.
- Eligibility to work in Germany.
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup, as a co-founder, or as a from-scratch builder is preferred.
