Responsibilities
- Design maintainable, scalable systems for complex infrastructure problems.
- Scale backend services for an energy platform serving OEMs, installers, and end consumers.
- Ship production code and own work from design through deployment.
- Contribute to code reviews, architecture decisions, and higher engineering standards.
- Develop billing, accounting ledger, and energy-market integration systems.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and shipping reliable backend infrastructure in production.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, including asynchronous programming patterns.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM-based data access such as Drizzle.
- Experience building backend services with Next.js, including API routes or server components.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and scalable, maintainable service design.
- Experience integrating payment systems such as Stripe and handling complex billing flows.
- Strong computer science fundamentals through a formal degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Evidence of technical exceptionality through standout projects, competitive programming, research, founding work, or a comparable signal.
- Broad application-building experience rather than narrow specialization in data pipelines or AI infrastructure.
- Strong written and verbal communication, ownership, and comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Benefits
- Salary of 80,000 to 120,000 EUR annually.
