Responsibilities
- Develop foundational backend engineering skills through a structured 12-month programme.
- Participate in group projects aligned with LSEG goals.
- Complete the Engineering Bootcamp, technical development activities, and programme assessments.
- Learn about LSEG, financial markets, and the role of technology in supporting clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the early careers community and volunteering initiatives.
- Join an LSEG division on a permanent basis from the start of employment.
Requirements
- Be a final-year undergraduate or master’s student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, completing course requirements before August/September 2027, or be a class of 2026 graduate.
- Have an interest in backend development and familiarity with Java, Python, or SQL.
- Demonstrate interest in technology through studies, extracurricular activities, internships, work experience, or personal projects.
- Demonstrate an interest in financial markets.
- Show curiosity about data, analytical ability, strategic thinking, resilience, adaptability, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Have unrestricted rights to work in the UK for the duration of the graduate programme and permanent employment.
