Responsibilities
- Build and maintain software across backend infrastructure, full-stack web applications, mobile infrastructure, or embedded systems.
- Scale data ingestion and storage systems supporting Samsara’s IoT platform, hardware assets, and customers.
- Develop user experiences that transform device data into actionable insights.
- Build software for Samsara hardware, including edge AI, multimedia, power management, and real-time data processing systems.
- Collaborate with product, design, customer success, and customers through interviews, feature development, and outcome measurement.
- Own projects end to end while learning new technologies and using AI tools to accelerate development.
Requirements
- Be a current senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Have an expected graduation date in 2027.
- Demonstrate curiosity and self-direction through experiences such as hackathons, side projects, or independent technical exploration.
- Be able to work collaboratively, take ownership of complex problems, and learn quickly.
- Direct experience with Samsara’s exact technology stack is not required, but similar technology experience is strongly encouraged.
