Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications across desktop, web, and database platforms.
- Build reusable components, services, libraries, REST APIs, and integration services.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, schemas, stored procedures, and queries.
- Support and maintain C++ and C# components and integrate legacy and modern applications.
- Participate in architecture, technical design, modernization, migration, coding standards, and technology evaluation activities.
- Write maintainable code, conduct code reviews, maintain automated tests, and participate in CI/CD and deployment activities.
- Troubleshoot production, integration, reliability, and performance issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Architects, and Business Analysts.
- Participate in sprint planning and technical reviews as a technical subject matter expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Expertise with Java 17, Java Swing, JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of C++ and C#.
- Experience with REST API design and development, SQL query optimization, Git, object-oriented programming, design patterns, software architecture, debugging, performance optimization, unit testing, and integration testing.
- Preferred experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js; Linux deployment environments; Docker; CI/CD pipelines; desktop and web application integration; Azure or AWS; and legacy-system modernization.
- Experience with medical, telecommunications, industrial automation, enterprise software, legacy desktop applications, multi-tier or client-server architectures, or cross-platform development is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, ownership, accountability, mentoring, and technical discussion skills.
