Responsibilities
- Own deliverables across multiple teams and work with technical leads to define solutions meeting customer requirements.
- Represent Northrop Grumman UK as the prime technical contact for the assigned area.
- Collaborate with senior external partners and customers while coordinating between organisations.
- Mentor and guide engineers to support skills development and team growth.
- Contribute to technical design, software development, and delivery planning.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend systems.
Requirements
- Experience as a Software Engineer with strong capability in backend development using Java Spring Boot, Maven, or Python, or frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or npm.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS, as well as DevOps, CI/CD, and containerisation technologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, ideally in an agile environment.
- British Nationality and current possession of the highest level of UK Government security clearance.
