Base Salary
$144k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze technical requirements and develop maintainable software.
- Build consumer-facing features across the product software stack, including mobile application functionality.
- Design and implement scalable distributed system architectures and modular software solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions and evaluate architectural trade-offs.
- Develop rollout strategies, experimentation plans, instrumentation, and supportability processes.
- Apply code reviews, version control, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot software defects using logs, metrics, and system behavior analysis.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and contribute technical writing and software development expertise.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a directly related technical field.
- At least 2 years of software design, development, testing, and implementation experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing scalable distributed systems and modular software solutions.
- At least 1 year of experience with technical design discussions, solution trade-offs, and feasible architectures.
- At least 1 year of experience implementing backend features in cross-functional collaboration.
- At least 1 year of experience developing rollout strategies, experimentation plans, instrumentation, and supportability processes.
- At least 1 year of experience with code reviews, version control, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting software defects and maintaining stable system operation.
- At least 1 year of experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
- Experience with AWS, DynamoDB, S3, Kubernetes, Go, Git, MySQL, Redis, and Python.
