Responsibilities
- Design and evolve operational infrastructure architecture for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, including stateful systems.
- Own infrastructure architecture design, implementation, and operation end to end.
- Build DevOps pipelines and operational automation frameworks using Ansible and Jenkins.
- Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
- Define reliability strategies covering incident response, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with Software Architects and Data Architects to establish platform-level standards.
- Establish FinOps practices for infrastructure resource management, cost optimization, and reporting.
- Define and apply security compliance standards for access control, vulnerability management, and audit logging.
- Perform root-cause analysis and build mechanisms to prevent recurring incidents.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, operations, or DevOps engineering.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing infrastructure architecture.
- Experience designing and operating AWS, GCP, or Azure environments and/or large-scale on-premises systems.
- Experience designing and building automated, operationally stable CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with configuration and provisioning tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Experience operating monitoring and logging systems including Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience operating stateful services or designing highly available systems.
- Solid Linux systems operations and networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Experience deploying and operating container-based services with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience operating incident-response processes including on-call, runbooks, and incident classification.
- Preferred experience with OpenStack, Kubernetes, service mesh, SRE or DevOps organizations, hybrid or multi-cloud IaC, and project- or team-level management.
