Base Salary
$104k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Execute manual and automated tests covering software functionality, performance, security, and regression impacts.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Evaluate test specifications, analyze test results, and drive corrective actions.
- Determine testing strategies and develop system-level test solutions aligned with customer and contractual requirements.
- Improve testing processes and tools.
- Participate in project meetings, planning, and risk assessment.
- Provide advanced technical expertise and leadership on testing projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in testing methodologies and tools.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Engage in client interactions and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, including Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Experience with Section 508 standards and WCAG 2.0 Level A and Level AA Success Criteria.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, security testing, and JIRA/MS TFS.
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
- ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent certification is desired.
- Experience with JAWS, ZAP, Roo Code, web, mobile, or cloud-based application testing is desired.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is desired.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for test automation is desired.
- Familiarity with JMeter or LoadRunner is desired.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
