Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions for the Arene service platform, including Tools & SDK.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain system-level software components for real-time and Linux-based automotive systems.
- Implement and enhance middleware, inter-process communication frameworks, and scheduling systems for hardware-agnostic, update-friendly vehicle services.
- Drive system design specifications using state machines and sequence diagrams and create testable system requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system-level issues with quality and integration engineers.
- Collaborate with systems engineering, product teams, and global partners in a client-facing environment.
Requirements
- Experience creating detailed system- and software-level requirements for complex products.
- Required MBSE experience with CATIA and StrictDoc and architecture documentation using SysML and UML.
- Experience with safety-critical or fault-tolerant automotive software, including ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR.
- Strong understanding of vehicle networking, ADAS and cockpit architecture, ECU architecture, and validation of distributed vehicle software features.
- Strong Python and C++ skills, with heavy emphasis on Python.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, containerization, and DevOps tooling.
- Proficiency with modern build systems and CI/CD tools such as Bazel and GitHub or GitLab.
- Preferred experience leading software projects or small teams.
- Preferred embedded software experience in robotics, automotive, or related industries.
- Preferred experience creating test, verification, or validation plans and methodologies and automotive domain knowledge.
