Responsibilities
- Contribute to software features end to end, including requirements clarification, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and shipping.
- Use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other AI-assisted tools in daily development while reviewing and validating generated output.
- Improve agent configurations, prompt and context templates, MCP integrations, guardrails, and reusable AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Write and improve tests and quality checks to verify behavior, prevent regressions, and make AI-generated code production-ready.
- Investigate difficult bugs by reproducing issues, analyzing logs, and diagnosing concurrency, operating-system, and environment-specific problems.
- Work across Windows and Linux and gain exposure to cloud, containerized, on-premises, and air-gapped deployments.
- Prototype and evaluate AI-powered capabilities such as LLM-assisted analysis, automated triage, and AI-assisted support for integrations.
- Collaborate with Product Management and QA to understand requirements, make technical trade-offs, and deliver reliable features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of professional experience with a track record of feature ownership.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, common design patterns, multithreaded programming, and system design.
- Strong coding and debugging skills, including the ability to navigate large codebases and diagnose issues across operating-system boundaries.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic tools in real development work, with the ability to review, verify, and test generated code.
- Working knowledge of LLM fundamentals, including prompt and context design, tool or function calling, output evaluation, and data-privacy considerations.
- Hands-on experience participating in design reviews and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts.
- Development experience on Windows and Linux platforms.
- Production-system experience, Rust or C++, AI agents or agentic pipelines, performance profiling, OSI networking, cybersecurity, or SQLite and PostgreSQL experience are preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and good English are additional pluses.
