Base Salary
$148k - $276k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions for merge-request gates, nightly regressions, and release workflows.
- Package, sign, and publish Debian and RPM packages and container images.
- Improve pipeline reliability by removing failure masking, stabilizing flaky lanes, and making regression results actionable.
- Operate Kubernetes-based CI runner fleets, container registries, artifact repositories, caching, retention policies, and access controls.
- Integrate code coverage, static analysis, unit and functional testing, secret scanning, container scanning, dependency scanning, and vulnerability scanning into pipelines.
- Automate provisioning of hardware- and simulation-based test environments with Ansible and Python.
- Partner with software, verification, lab, and infrastructure teams to unblock builds, strengthen release paths, and establish repository standards.
- Apply AI-assisted code review, failure triage, and agent workflows to reduce DevOps toil.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, build and release, or infrastructure engineering, including end-to-end pipeline ownership.
- Deep Linux experience with Ubuntu and RHEL, including shell scripting, debugging, package management, host fleets, and Docker containers.
- Strong Python and Bash automation skills.
- Production experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins pipelines, or GitHub Actions, including multi-stage pipelines for compiled and interpreted codebases.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes as a CI and infrastructure platform, container registries, and artifact repositories.
- Familiarity with coverage, static analysis, secret scanning, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Understanding of computer networking fundamentals and Git-based development workflows.
- Experience building and packaging C/C++ projects with CMake and Conan is preferred.
- Familiarity with InfiniBand, Ethernet fabrics, NVLink, switch and network-management software, SonarQube, Coverity, Bullseye, container scanning, secret scanning, AI agents, or LLM tooling is preferred.
- Strong ownership, communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills are required.
