Responsibilities
- Lead threat modeling and security reviews across Wiz's products and cloud infrastructure.
- Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling for development teams.
- Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts across the software supply chain.
- Extend detection and response capabilities to identify and remediate malicious activity.
- Build partnerships with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
- Strong AWS cloud security experience, with consideration for Azure and GCP.
- Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes services and container security principles.
- Deep understanding of securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
- Proven ability to lead technical security reviews and conduct threat modeling.
- Hands-on experience with IAC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm.
- Experience with automation and tooling development in Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
