Base Salary

$130k - $186k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient software for complex applications and systems.
  • Drive technical strategy and architecture for major projects and initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in designing and delivering large-scale software projects.
  • Design scalable, reliable systems and collaborate with architects on system design.
  • Prioritize technical debt and develop team policies, procedures, and engineering techniques.
  • Monitor service health, use telemetry, conduct root cause analysis, and prevent recurring incidents.
  • Advocate for engineering excellence, testing practices, and software quality.
  • Oversee CI/CD build, test, and deployment processes and own the full production lifecycle.
  • Build testable software, automate tests, and participate in testing activities.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to engineers.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and evaluate emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of C, C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with software architecture, design patterns, scalable systems, and DevOps development models.
  • Proven experience leading and delivering large-scale, complex software projects.
  • Proficiency with Azure, AWS, GCP, and GitHub.
  • Experience building telemetry or observability into the development process.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with developing accessible technologies is preferred.
  • Expertise in specialized technical disciplines and awareness of business challenges, regulatory factors, and related best practices are preferred.
