Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and operate application systems and web platforms in coordination with network, systems, cybersecurity, and vendor teams.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and evolutionary maintenance of infrastructure supporting critical organizational systems.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, and proactively identify and resolve potential incidents.
- Implement continuous improvements to infrastructure, performance, resilience, and solution availability.
- Define and implement security measures protecting systems and data while supporting operational security best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- At least five years of experience managing, maintaining, and evolving technological infrastructure and application or web systems.
- Strong experience with on-premises environments, including physical servers, virtualization, networks, backups, firewalls, and datacenter security.
- Knowledge of operational security, privilege management, network segmentation, system hardening, and compliance.
- Experience monitoring systems, resolving complex problems, and implementing continuous improvement measures.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Development background with PHP and/or C#.
- Ability to design secure solutions in environments without cloud services.
- Good communication skills, collaboration, and continuous-improvement orientation.
- Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Lisbon.
