Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the simulation’s features and dynamics.
- Research military doctrine to inform entity behavior under various circumstances.
- Conceptualize and design AI behavior models using HTNs, GOAP, and state machines.
- Define the structure and constraints of the entity 'brain' in collaboration with engineering.
- Translate high-level intent into configurable decision logic.
- Design entity behavior using a visual scripting editor.
- Create behavior systems that support variation and reuse.
- Participate in iteration cycles to refine behaviors based on feedback and outcomes.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience designing game-based AI/decision-making systems.
- Proven ability to conceptualize AI behavior models with a range of outcomes.
- Strong systems-thinking skills for reasoning about complex decision spaces.
- Experience collaborating with engineers on runtime AI systems.
- Ability to read and contribute to behavior-related code.
- Clear communication of design intent to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
