Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend systems and infrastructure for web-scale AI-driven products.
- Improve platform scalability, reliability, performance, and security for millions of users.
- Contribute to open-source projects and integrate new technologies into the platform.
- Develop and maintain production databases and optimize scalable query patterns.
- Refactor existing systems to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
- Define architectural patterns and team practices that support long-term growth.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams on deployment and monitoring strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and deploying mission-critical services with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, deployment pipelines, and debugging system-level issues.
- Expertise designing and maintaining scalable SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Open-source contribution or maintenance experience is a plus.
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver maintainable solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration across technical teams.
