Base Salary
$161k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans based on functional specifications.
- Execute functional, system, scaling, throughput, stress, and soak tests.
- Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for product validation.
- Assist with customer issue diagnosis, duplication, and resolution.
- Participate in live customer troubleshooting sessions.
- Collaborate with software developers and QA staff to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
- Create documentation and training materials for team knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience related to testing or automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including Layer 2, 3, and 4 protocols and systems.
- Knowledge of security firewalls, firewall policies, and IPsec tunnels.
- Knowledge of Voice over IP and experience with Voice over IP testing.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
- Development experience with Python, Java, or Perl.
- Experience using Spirent or Ixia traffic generators.
- GUI testing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud environments is a plus.
