Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select technologies.
- Review peer code and provide feedback on coding standards, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing impacts on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Develop secure, scalable core infrastructure for global payment-partner integrations and help teams onboard new partners faster.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Two years of software development experience in an object-oriented programming language, or one year of software development experience in an industry setting with an advanced degree.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of Java backend software development experience.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
