Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Amazon Marketing Cloud conversational assistant.
- Build LLM orchestration pipelines involving prompt engineering, tool use, and agent workflows.
- Develop APIs and integrations with query, reporting, and audience-management systems.
- Build scalable pipelines and ETL workflows for petabyte-scale advertising data.
- Create data quality checks, validation logic, monitoring, and performance optimizations for pipelines and services.
- Develop evaluation metrics and ground-truth datasets to improve agent accuracy.
- Own features from system design through deployment, production operations, documentation, and on-call support.
- Collaborate with applied scientists, product teams, and engineers on architecture and design decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting reliable and scalable systems.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
