
Senior Lead Software Engineer

- Design and develop highly complex, business-critical software solutions and application enhancements.
- Lead technical design, architecture, and implementation efforts for strategic initiatives.
- Define scalable, maintainable, and secure solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Create technical specifications and guide engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor engineers, help solve complex problems, and promote engineering best practices.
- Drive architectural decisions and technical standards across engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Ensure software quality through testing, automation, code reviews, and engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and application issues.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Support, and Engineering to deliver solutions meeting customer and business needs.
- Improve engineering processes, system performance, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Communicate technical strategies, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise in software architecture, application design, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience leading large-scale technical initiatives and influencing architectural decisions across teams.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, including consensus building with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance across multiple projects.
- Experience presenting technical concepts, strategies, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and scalable application design.
- Experience developing and supporting native mobile applications is required.
- Experience with PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, and AWS.
- Preferred experience with MySQL, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, Docker, Apache, OpenAPI, and Harness.
