Responsibilities
- Support development of AI-assisted workflows for engineering and compute optimization tasks.
- Help build and evaluate systems that generate, test, benchmark, and measure candidate improvements.
- Contribute to tools connecting AI models with compilers, profilers, benchmarking tools, and engineering workflows.
- Support evaluation and validation focused on correctness, performance, and reliability.
- Analyze experimental results and identify opportunities to improve AI models and optimization approaches.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers on AI-assisted software and hardware optimization projects.
- Support experiment tracking, benchmarking, and reproducibility across AI engineering projects.
- Document technical work, experimental results, and key learnings.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Programming experience in Python.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in artificial intelligence or computer systems.
- Familiarity with PyTorch or similar machine learning frameworks.
- Interest in AI agents, optimization, LLMs, or AI-assisted software development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
