Responsibilities

  • Provide testing environments, tooling, and knowledge that enable engineering teams to run robust quality programs.
  • Perform software testing and automate tests across unit, integration, functional, performance, and other testing types.
  • Help shift quality left and improve software quality metrics and confidence among stakeholders, partners, and clients.
  • Guide software engineering teams through continuous improvement using tooling, piloting, advocacy, and education.
  • Enable engineers to thoroughly test their own code and support reliable software delivery.

Requirements

  • Require 0–3 years of experience as a software developer, Software Developer in Test, or similar professional.
  • Require a BS in Computer Science or equivalent, or analogous work experience.
  • Require production software coding experience and strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Require fluency in white-box, black-box, unit, integration, functional, and performance testing methodologies.
  • Require a bias toward automation and a proven record automating complex software testing in enterprise environments.
  • Require expertise with testing and mocking frameworks, plus experience with tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, or Karate.
  • Prefer familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Prefer performance testing experience with JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Prefer knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OCI.
  • Prefer understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Prefer ISTQB or other relevant certifications and experience with SOC or HITRUST compliance.
  • Require strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independent-work, and attention-to-detail skills.
