Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, build, and integrate solutions meeting functional, performance, security, compliance, business, technology, service-delivery, and commercial requirements.
  • Create architectural diagrams, data flows, and integration patterns including ESB, microservices, and event-driven approaches.
  • Advise internal and external clients, translate business and technical needs into requirements and solution scope, and build client confidence.
  • Document solutions and align statements of work, project plans, and commercial engagement aspects with technical delivery.
  • Size and cost integration services and present proposed solutions to clients.
  • Write clean, testable code or integration-flow language to develop, verify, deploy, and analyze integrations.
  • Implement APIs, connectors, message consumers, and transformation pipelines.
  • Develop integration best practices, enforce coding and versioning standards, conduct peer reviews, and maintain integration registries and metadata catalogs.
  • Create integration specifications, test plans, and test scenarios.
  • Partner with system owners, project managers, and integration and data architects to align strategies and translate requirements into technical designs and user stories.
  • Lead workshops and technical demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor service health and error rates, implement alerting and disaster-recovery procedures, and conduct post-incident reviews and root-cause analyses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing system integrations, including ESB and API gateways.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and on-premises and cloud infrastructure models.
  • Experience designing REST and SOAP services, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and API security using OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Experience documenting architecture with UML, Enterprise Architect, or similar tools.
  • Experience with web services and data description standards including WSDL, XSD, XML, and JSON.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, messaging, message queues, streaming data, and object storage.
  • Hands-on Java or equivalent coding skills and SQL database skills, preferably with Oracle, including unit and integration testing.
  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
  • Understanding of system metrics and monitoring and experience with observability tools.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, information safety, and integration security.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Nice-to-have experience with IBM webMethods Integration Platform, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, AWS, GCP, Azure, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, load testing, profiling, latency optimization, autoscaling, and disaster recovery.
  • TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or similar certifications are desirable.
  • Local security clearance is required.
