Responsibilities
- Define and drive technical vision for intelligent networking, distributed systems, real-time data processing, agentic AI, and machine learning capabilities.
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production operations.
- Design and build scalable, high-performance services, data pipelines, distributed microservices, agentic solutions, and networking integrations.
- Lead technical discussions and strategy while contributing hands-on to design reviews, code reviews, and implementation.
- Mentor engineers, establish technical direction, and foster engineering excellence and innovation.
- Improve architecture, system performance, operational readiness, resilience, security, observability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of software development lifecycle experience spanning architecture, design, coding, reviews, testing, build processes, deployment, and production operations.
- 10+ years of programming experience with proficiency in at least one general-purpose language, preferably Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- 3+ years leading the design and architecture of large-scale distributed systems, preferably on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with real-time microservices, stream processing, distributed data platforms, cloud infrastructure, AI or agentic systems, network telemetry, or large-scale analytics.
- Experience designing systems processing high-volume, high-velocity data with stringent scalability, availability, latency, and reliability requirements.
- Experience mentoring engineers, serving as a technical lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Ability to solve complex, ambiguous technical problems and develop pragmatic, production-ready solutions.
- Preferred: Master’s or PhD in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: Experience with generative AI or agentic systems, including tool use, planning, memory, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and production deployment.
- Preferred: Experience with networking, network management, observability, telemetry, cloud infrastructure, distributed control-plane systems, and large-scale real-world datasets.
- Preferred: Experience with Kafka, Spark, Flink, PySpark, MapReduce, or comparable distributed data technologies.
