Staff Front End Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop modular and scalable code for front-end applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, research, development, code reviews, deployment, and testing.
- Build high-quality user experiences and reusable engineering components from design systems.
- Define and evolve front-end technical architecture, technology roadmaps, presentation-layer standards, and best practices across multiple teams.
- Design and maintain shared front-end platforms, libraries, reusable application frameworks, and enterprise SPA architectures.
- Establish front-end testing strategies covering unit, component, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Improve front-end performance, application delivery, observability, logging, metrics, tracing, error monitoring, and diagnostics.
- Provide Staff-level technical leadership through architecture decisions, technical standards, design reviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
- Collaborate closely with UX, Business Analyst, and QA teams and integrate SPAs with REST or gRPC services.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional web UI or front-end development experience.
- Proven experience designing and evolving large-scale enterprise single-page application architectures.
- Strong hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture patterns, component design, state management, routing, API integration, performance, accessibility, testing, and web security.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks, reusable component libraries, design systems, browser internals, rendering performance, memory management, and front-end optimization.
- Demonstrated Staff-level technical leadership and experience defining front-end architecture and technology roadmaps across multiple teams.
- Experience with front-end observability, testing strategies, build systems, dependency management, code splitting, lazy loading, bundle optimization, and dependency governance.
- Preferred experience with monorepos, micro-frontends, modular architectures, Nx, Turborepo, pnpm workspaces, Redux Toolkit, or TanStack Query.
- Preferred experience with Angular, Vue, GraphQL, WebSockets, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Webpack, and NPM Scripts.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred, as is experience in wealth management or financial services.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and workflows is preferred.
