Responsibilities
- Build simple workflows covering multiple user journeys in the Databricks Control Plane.
- Build self-service, modular UI flows that enable product teams to create standardized customer journeys.
- Collaborate with product management, backend engineers, and global cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Plan and execute complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Create, deploy, test, and upgrade complex data pipelines with data-graph visualization features.
- Provide SQL-centric data exploration and dashboarding experiences on Databricks.
- Support collaborative data projects at massive scale with an easy path to production.
- Mentor and groom junior full-stack engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience.
- Experience leading large, multi-quarter efforts with demonstrated customer or business impact.
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Ability to work toward a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
- Experience building large-scale products.
- Knowledge of current front-end architecture practices, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Familiarity with server-side web technologies is a plus.
