Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable advertising workflows for complex ad-serving use cases.
- Lead the design of large software components and write production code for enterprise-level systems.
- Develop solutions for dynamic commercial break patterns, specialized ad slot management, targeting controls, category exclusivity, and impression-based sponsorships.
- Collaborate with Prime Video, Publishing Technology, and partner teams to implement advertising formats and product features.
- Decompose complex problems into standards-based, flexible solutions.
- Promote rapid experimentation, measurement, iteration, and a strong engineering culture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience as a software development engineer or in a related occupation.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
