Responsibilities
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and management for AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and own developer-focused internal tooling and automation.
- Support new feature design as the cloud SME for container/k8s designs.
- Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for rapid code delivery.
- Enhance internal developer and production platforms for maximum availability.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve development process bottlenecks.
- Develop onboarding programs and training resources for new developers.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support.
- Evolve observability tools to resolve performance and usability issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or AWS cloud operations.
- 3+ years in a DevOps, INF, or Platform Engineering role.
- Experience with Kubernetes-specific CI/CD pipelines using tools like CircleCI or Jenkins.
- Proficiency in creating internal tooling to enhance developer productivity.
- Experience with automated development environments.
- Documented experience in provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Linux container technologies like Docker.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes operations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby, Python, or Java.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Working knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Kafka and ElasticSearch is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
