Base Salary
$220k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end machine learning infrastructure that productionizes Data Science models
- Architect and deploy low-latency, high-availability inference services for real-time platform decisions
- Build scalable logging and data pipelines in partnership with Data Science
- Lead the creation and optimization of a centralized feature store
- Lead MLOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, and automated retraining
- Implement observability that detects data drift and model degradation
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Backend Engineering deploying and maintaining complex ML models in high-traffic production environments
- 3+ years of technical leadership and experience driving architecture decisions for consumer applications or scalable backend platforms
- Proficiency with streaming architectures such as Kafka, Flink, or PubSub and low-latency inference services under 100 milliseconds
- Deep experience across the ML lifecycle, including training, deployment, and monitoring, using tools such as MLFlow, Kubeflow, Databricks, or SageMaker
- Expertise in Python and SQL
- Proficiency in Go, C++, or Rust is a strong plus
- Deep experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Functions, GKE, and Vertex AI, or AWS equivalents
- Experience with reinforcement learning or complex probabilistic models for dynamic pricing, risk management, or fraud detection is a plus
- Background in Daily Fantasy Sports, oddsmaking, or high-frequency trading is a plus
- Experience building and scaling feature stores that connect batch historical data with real-time event streams is a plus
- Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is unavailable
