Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end software solutions covering design, development, troubleshooting, integrations, and algorithm maintenance.
- Build and maintain secure, high-quality production code and architecture artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyze datasets to produce insights, visualizations, and reporting that improve coding hygiene, reliability, and system architecture.
- Define, educate, and operationalize SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets with engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
- Lead operational work involving hosting infrastructure planning, data center migrations, partner engagements, audits, application hygiene, and knowledge sharing.
- Support incident triage, troubleshooting, post-incident analysis, and reliability-risk identification using authorized AI capabilities with appropriate validation and data handling.
- Drive issue resolution, change and release management, automation, and toil-reduction improvements.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, production operations, and operational stability.
- Strong coding skills in Linux, Bash, and Python, including enterprise-scale debugging and maintenance.
- Experience with database querying, SDLC practices, end-to-end delivery, application resiliency, and security practices.
- Deep expertise in SRE practices including reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise architecture, and toil reduction.
- Experience with file transfers, SSL/certificates, load balancers, job scheduling, monitoring, backup and capacity management, containers, orchestration, CI/CD tooling, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab, and Terraform.
- Ability to validate AI-assisted operational recommendations, escalate uncertainty, and follow data-sensitivity requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across senior business stakeholders and junior technologists.
- Preferred: familiarity with SIP or VoIP.
