Responsibilities
- Own the AI Tribe’s tactical architecture and architecture governance, including Architecture Decision Records and participation in the AI Architecture Review Board.
- Guide solution design across AI platforms and strategic use-case domains while supporting Solution Architects, developers, and decision-making forums.
- Provide technical advisory and lead architectural design for AI solutions in collaboration with Product Owners, Software Developers, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and architects.
- Connect business priorities, use cases, and technology choices while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Consolidate project-specific technical implementation recommendations and establish shared technology plans and development priorities across stakeholder groups.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities, make informed architectural trade-offs, and translate technological change into practical direction.
- Follow the development of agentic AI technologies and contribute to the renewal of OP Pohjola’s technology and architectural landscape.
Requirements
- Strong prior practical experience in hands-on functional architecture and broader technical architecture.
- Experience in a similar guiding architecture role, modern software development, and software development leadership.
- Experience with architectural modelling and documentation, such as ArchiMate and Architecture Decision Records.
- Experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions and leading architectural design within an AI-focused organization.
- Ability to connect business requirements, use cases, and AI technologies in an enterprise environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and manage complex entities, simplify complex concepts, and support better technology decisions while understanding technical details.
- Strong written and spoken English; Finnish is an advantage.
- Experience in regulated industries, especially financial services, is an advantage.
- Beneficial experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, MLOps, LLMOps, agentic AI frameworks, data platform architecture, security and risk management, and financial-sector regulation.
