Base Salary
$129k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Build GraphQL APIs, integrate RabbitMQ for asynchronous messaging, and develop event-driven backend services.
- Implement microservices and distributed systems with attention to scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Lead application development, testing, and deployment on AWS, including EKS, RDS, and other managed services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to define, design, and deliver features and applications.
- Maintain code quality through unit testing, code review, continuous integration, and software documentation.
- Develop software in compliance with regulated medical-device standards, including IEC 62304.
- Travel up to 10% as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on full-stack development.
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot, JavaScript, and Angular for user-interface development.
- Experience with microservice architectures and distributed systems.
- Strong AWS cloud experience, including Kubernetes and EKS.
- Proficiency in GraphQL and RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and software as a medical device is highly preferred.
- Healthcare data integration and compliance experience, including HIPAA, is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or higher and relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Database - Specialty are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to meet the position’s physical, cognitive, and environmental requirements with or without accommodation.
