Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance cloud-based microservices using AWS and TypeScript.
- Build services that communicate through well-defined APIs while applying software engineering, design, and architectural patterns.
- Use AI developer tools for context gathering, code generation, test generation, and refactoring while validating output for security and correctness.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and work toward high test coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, design sessions, stakeholder discussions, and architectural improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product owners to deliver maintainable software solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing service-oriented applications in Java, Python, C#, TypeScript, or another modern language.
- Experience designing and building microservice-based systems with high cohesion and loose coupling.
- Preference for TypeScript and experience with object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience integrating AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT/Claude into software development workflows.
- Experience implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL data stores and industry-standard design and architectural patterns.
- Understanding of software security practices, including OAuth, JWT, and encryption.
- Experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- AWS serverless experience with technologies such as DynamoDB and SQS is preferred but not required.
- Strong English communication, analytical, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.

- Salary of $130,000-$155,000 DOE.
